We are looking to fill the following position:
ARC iNFRASTRUCTURE MONITORING & MINIMIZATION PROJECT (IMMP) FIELD ASSISTANT
This is an exciting 9-month full time position to join our team and make a real difference to the future of endangered birds, in some of the most beautiful and challenging locations in the world. Continuation of employment may be possible, dependent upon availability of funds, work performance, and operational considerations
Key duties will include monitoring impacts to wildlife from human activities associated with electrical transmission, distribution infrastructure, artificial lighting and other issues; incidental take monitoring, biological monitoring, seabird population survey and monitoring, mapping species locations, data entry, and preliminary analyses of field data. This work is vital to the conservation of endangered species on Hawaii and will lead directly to immediate and real conservation action.
