Laura studied Biology at Montana State University and graduated with a degree in Conservation Biology and Ecology, focusing on the fascinating intersection of evolution, genetics, and behavioral ecology. Her love for the ocean led her to Kaua‘i originally as a scuba guide. Eager to deepen her understanding of marine ecology, she is now excited to immerse herself in the world of marine ornithology. In her off-time, Laura finds joy in diving, snowboarding, and exploring new places. Fascinated by islands, she aspires to travel to as many Pacific Islands as possible throughout her career.
