
Mike McFarlin, M.S. - Conservation Specialist
Mike has worked in ecological research and conservation for over a decade. He has worked in Germany, Malta, and across the United States, including 5 years in Hawai'i, with a variety of organisms and organizations. He received a Master of Science from San Jose State University studying bird movement and their microbiome and is passionate about utilizing emerging technologies and building collaborations to preserve ecosystems. He brings these interests to his current position as Conservation Specialist for Archipelago Research and Conservation where he focuses on endangered seabird and wetland conservation in Hawaiʻi.
