NOAH ZOVICKIAN – SEABIRD TECHNICIAN

Noah graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.S. in Applied Animal Biology. He has a strong educational background in evolutionary ecology, microbiology, and animal welfare. After completing his undergraduate degree, he moved to Utah to work as a field technician collecting data for the Bureau of Land Management's Assessment Inventory and Monitoring program. Since then, he has also worked for a bioacoustics monitoring project with the University of Wisconsin's Peery Lab based in Lassen County, California. That project had a specific focus on researching changes in Barred Owl and California Spotted Owl territory. In the winter seasons, Noah worked as a ski technician in Salt Lake City. He took advantage of his close proximity to the Wasatch Mountains to snowboard in the winters and learn to rock climb over the summers. Noah is originally from San Francisco and grew up enjoying the coastal forests and beaches of Northern California. He is happy to be back living on a coast where he can spend time on a beach and in the forest.
